Mom & Me

Mothers can be our best friends. Hachette's Mom & Me is celebration of the relationship we have with our mothers. The book is a combination of stories, activities, and even a small gift.
The short stories in Mom & Me encompass a number of incidents and experiences. In My Life in Pictures, a child tries to grapple with her mother who takes photos of everything. In other story, Nina is embarrassed of her mother till she discovers her hidden gifts. The Star Mother retells an Indian folk tale of how the moon came to be so beautiful while The Princess of Beans is the story of Madhura, who sells flowers by the temple, but would rather be a princess. The stories section ends with a narration of the true story behind Mothers's Day.
The short stories have been written by many authors including Subhadra Sengupta and Ranjit Lal. The book also includdes 25 activities one can do with or for one's mother. Make her a gift basket, a potpourri or a small scrapbook. The book ends with a section where you can write your favourite quotes about mothers.
